Belgian Ftw made these new icons, but I think there too big, and it looks dumb with 2 icons together (Nothing against you Belgian, there great, but don't really suit the forums.)

Depending on people's views [so Belgian says], they may be removed, so then I was looking at our current icons, the Mind Runes

Personally I don't really like the mind runes, they look to plain, and bland to me.

So I was thinking of something else that could replace the Mind Rune Icons

I think Runite Ore would look really cool, lighting up in blue, when there was a new post in a topic.

I personally like the mind runes.
But whatever, let's just see how many people would like to see something else instead.

The other problem I have with the Mind Runes is this :

They barely light up, so you need to look pretty closly inorder to see if someone has posted.

Sometimes people have posted, and it doesn't even light up.

I don't know what you're talking about, i see it perfectly clear.

I checked because I saw you were online, and maybe posted.

And it said i aws the last one to post, even though you posted..

It's not working correctly.

I know, but a pale orange, is a lot harder to see against a white background, then a nice vibrant blur or something.

That's why I hate the mind runes.

They look good, but like I LO V E U I said they dont suit this forum...

Make them smaller, and maybe make them with a simular theme. (like Have them all smilies, but for announcements have a smiley on a cardboard box with a letter, and for information, a smily ready an info kiosk)

As for new topics, i just click on topics from last visit.

I mean, icons arent needed at all, they are just to make the forums look better. Personally, I think they do this job well.
