As of today (Tuesday, November 4th) Senetor Barack Obama is now the president of the United States of America. I thought it was interesting in how although Obama beat McCain by a large number of electoral votes, the popular vote was not that different (at the time, about 43M to 46M). Please post some of your comments on the election (no more than 5 lines, please, because I don't want this to get into a heated debate).

Although when McCain mentioned Obama's name in the speech he gave at the end of the election the crowd started to boo, I liked how McCain tried to shut up the crowd, and his speech at the end was very nice, and appropriate.

Yes, I am Canadian, however this election was very interesting and fun to watch in my opinion.

1. They campaign for 21 months, in Canada it's like 21 days.
2. It was making U.S. history, the first African American, or the Oldest Man to run.

My Dad and I watched CNN on Tuesday night from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

It was very interesting, and we were glad Obama won
