[Closed] Recoils don't give loot?

Someone told me that if you kill a monster with Rings of recoil only, you won't get a drop from the monsters?

Is this really true?

Ok, thanks for this input.
I got the "rumor" from a good skiller, who said he tested this.
Maybe he was just telling me what he thought, or maybe he had bad luck or something.

Or (this is what I expect), you have to hit atleast 1 hit yourself, to get loot.

You still can...
You need to have a slayer task first, you don't need to kill random monsters...

I think recoil rings give loot, because that is how lvl 3 skillers get special objects from monsters ( cyclops

It does give loot, however you have to hit atleast a '1' on the monster or else, the game will show you the loot Sad

Just to let curious people know it too:

I tested it today, together with my best friend Mattiasbest.
It took us long to find an opponent who could k0 us with rings of recoil, without requiring too much food (def levels 70 and 82).
The preferred monster turned out to be the Abyssal Leech, 41 combat with 10 HP.

The result:
NO, you DO NOT get any drops/loot when you hit a 0, and then finish it off with only recoils.
And yes, you get loot when you've atleast hitted for 1 damage.
